The Click Photo – DFW Wedding Photography & Videography

THE CLICK IS PROUD TO PRESENT:

Leah Layman

LEAH LAYMAN

OWNER, LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER,
LEAD VIDEOGRAPHER
AKA: “BOSS BITCH”
EXPERIENCE: 14 YEARS

One trend I think needs to come back:

The banana clip. I mean why did it ever go away?? It’s like you can wear your hair up and out of your face, but it still looks great. Like an up-do. I thought the banana clip was magical. Now my flower puff bangs that went along with it, not so much.

Something not everyone might know about me:

I was actually a bartender for 14 years! I absolutely LOVED it and would still be doing it if I could. I think it helped me with being good with people, too. The groomsmen at weddings ain’t got nothin’ on me. I can quip right back at them….so bring it! I also have a 21 year-old daughter and a 3-year old daughter ( and two teenage boys in between), so doing this pretty much makes me certifiably insane. But it’s okay, your wedding is my happy time (my escape from the zoo).

Would you rather find five dollars on the ground or find all OF your missing socks?

With a family of six, if I could find all the missing socks ever in the time I have been doing all this laundry, I could probably make 50 quilts out of them, or something. I mean, I can’t sew or do ANYTHING crafty so don’t ask. Just saying I would have a plethora of socks. And where did they go??? Where do they go. This is a question I feel I will ask until the end of time.

My life described in movie titles:

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest; Dazed & Confused; A Wonderful Life; Parenthood; A Love Story; Jesus Christ Superstar

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?

I really want to be a cookie bakin’, old hippie. Just doing nothing but cranking my Beatles, Hendrix, Joplin, Stones, Zeppelin, and Tom Petty Tunes with my beautiful grand-babies until I go to the Spirit in the Sky.

TEll us about your education

I’m the proud owner of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from TCU, a Photography Degree from New York Institute, and I’m a Member of the Professional Wedding Guild

According to THE CLICK: IF LEAH WERE A SPICE, SHE WOULD BE:

Salt. Leah is the very definition of “salt of the Earth”. At her core, she’s fundamentally good. She’s trustworthy, reliable, straightforward, and adding her to anything you do just makes it better and richer. One definition found for “salt of the Earth” is “an individual considered as representative of the best or noblest elements of society”, and that’s exactly what Leah is – the absolute best.

A note from Leah: “I don’t need much. I’m blessed beyond measure, and it’s simple – I like it like that.

WHAT LEAH HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE CLICK

The Click is the definition of unique, different, and awesome! Photographers/Videographers are typically husband and wife duos or on their own. I spent many years (and kissed a bunch of frogs!) to form a group of like minded women who get along and kick some serious ass together! Every one of these women who work for me are unique, smart, and special. I love them all dearly and so appreciate what each one of them brings to my company. I am sure I don’t tell them enough, but if they need reassurance they can read this bio. Boom.
